In some cases, the condition of the bronze memorial plaque may warrant a full restoration process. In this case the plaque is removed and delivered to our office at Fraser Coast Crematorium where it will undergo a factory refurbishment.
The restoration process consists of removal of all paints and coatings, a ‘brightening’ procedure to bring back the original lustre, and the reapplication of the original factory paint and protective coatings.
The end result is a plaque that is as fresh and new as the day it was first made. |

Granite Headstones & Plaques
To clean, use water with non-ionic soaps or detergents applied with a natural bristled brush. Do not use a wire brush, acid cleaners or household cleaners as this may cause permanent damage.
Calcium build-up from hard water can cause a dull faded appearance on polished granite. Use a heavy duty non metallic scouring pad to remove this, check before using it is suitable for granite. Due to granite's durability, it is all right to use a more aggressive scrubbing.
